Graphic Design: Week 5
Description
If you love drawing, art, or digital creativity, this Spotlight Camp will show you how to transform your ideas into professional-quality designs. Campers will learn the fundamentals of graphic design—from layout and typography to color theory and digital illustration—using industry-style tools to bring their concepts to life. What makes this camp truly unique? Participants will work on real design projects for local nonprofits, small businesses, and community organizations. Past camper designs have been featured in online campaigns, social media posts, event flyers, and promotional materials for groups such as the Special Olympics, Martha’s Kitchen, and local shelters. Throughout the week, campers will: develop digital art and design skills, create posters, logos, ads, and social media visuals, learn how designers communicate messages through imagery, collaborate with peers on meaningful community-based projects, and build a beginner design portfolio they can continue using and growing.
