Around the World Robotics & Lego Builds - Session 1
Description
Are you ready for an adventure? Send your camper on a trip with FaySummer around the world to discover unique aspects of different cultures, including national flags, traditional cuisines, influential artists, and notable historical landmarks! While they explore, they will be challenged to work with a partner to solve different tasks in various “countries” that will put them ahead or behind in the race to the finish line! Not only will your student be learning about world cultures and developing an appreciation for cultural differences, but they will be competing in fun LEGO® brick challenges to test their building and problem-solving skills.
One of the two weeks of camp will be dedicated to Spike Prime Robotics.Campers will be shown how to effectively utilize motion, pressure, and color sensors and how different mechanical components work to create movement in robots. Then, students are taught how to use word-block coding to program and control their creations via Bluetooth. All robotics builds will differ from those at other weeks at FaySummer to ensure new learning, ideas and more fun!

SAGE Dining will provide lunch for each day of the session at the cost of $5 a day. Please not that individual day selections are not available. Campers can bring their own nut free lunch from home with them. 		+ $45.00
