Set Sail
Description
Catch the wind and chart your course! In this beginner sailing session, campers with no experience and those with some sailing knowledge will learn the skills to sail the bay. From understanding wind direction and basic knots to steering and teamwork on the water, every day brings hands-on practice and exciting challenges. Campers in this session will sail every full day of camp and participate in their favorite camp activities when not on the water. Completion of Set Sail is not equivalent to completing Basic Sailing for Mariers. Girl must have successfully passed the GSSJC Proficient Swimmer and Advanced Swimmer Test.
