Flag Football Club, 2nd - 8th grade with Xian
Description
Flag Football Club: During this club, students will work on core skills such as throwing, catching, route running, defensive strategies, agility, and teamwork. Practices will focus on skill-building drills and basic game concepts, followed by small competitions and scrimmages to reinforce learning and encourage sportsmanship.

This club is designed to provide basic instruction, skill development, and an opportunity for students to grow in confidence while enjoying physical activity. The goal is to create a positive environment where students can learn the fundamentals, improve their abilities, and have fun with their peers. While also preparing themselves for future middle school sports.

This club is from 3:30 - 4:30 with Xian.

This club starts on Friday, March 27th and ends on Friday, May 15th.

Students are collected from Extended Day (Aftercare) by club instructors and then brought back to Extended Day when the club is over. Parents/Caregivers pick their children up from the gym.

Extended Day is included in the club price before the club begins. You will be charged for Extended Day if you do not promptly pick your child up when the club ends or if your child remains until 6:00 pm. There is a five minute grace period after which you will be charged for Extended Day. The fee for a late pick up or a child remaining in Extended Day is half the price of Extended Day.

Please note that clubs are non-refundable. Late registration requests are not guaranteed. Please email Miriam with late registration requests (marensberg@friendsschoolatlanta.org) after registration has closed.

Switching clubs is also not guaranteed. It is important that you register before the deadline for instructors to plan for the number of students registered, rosters to be formed, and club spaces to be assigned. Students may not switch clubs after the 2nd class.

Club Instructors do their best to get a substitute when they cannot attend their club. However, there are times when an instructor must cancel. You will be notified as soon as possible if a club cancels and a rescheduled time will be planned.
