Tech Titans Summer Camp

Get ready for a week of hands-on creativity, problem-solving, and all-around tech fun! During this full-day camp (9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.), rising 4th–9th grade campers will dive into a variety of STEAM experiences designed to build skills and spark imagination. Your camp leader is Jennifer Wardell Smith, FSA’s Innovation Lab teacher.

Campers will explore intermediate-level Scratch coding, taking on challenges that involve variables, conditionals, parallel processes, animations, and interactive game design. Campers who are new to Scratch or coding may choose a beginner-level project. Students will also engineer and program robots using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime kits—building custom bots, experimenting with sensors, and completing robotics challenges.

For some screen-free fun, students will design, build, and test their own obstacle courses, blending creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in an exciting “unplugged” way.

Project ideas will be offered, but student choice drives the week—campers can focus on Scratch, robotics, or both! Whether they want to explore a mix of tech tools or dive deep into a single project, this camp gives every student the flexibility and guidance to invent, experiment, and create.
