ZINEMAKING

In Zinemaking camp, young friends will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity through designing, printing, and sharing their own mini-zine! Friends will learn about the history and uses of zines to distribute art and information within the community, then explore examples of zines created in Atlanta and abroad. They will work collaboratively to make a class zine, teaching them the skills of constructing a mini-zine, then they will have the opportunity to make their own! This camp is encouraged for creative writers to share their writing, but is great for anybody interested in sharing their knowledge on a topic with their community!
