Teen Camp Crew Application
Description
Members of the crew help with daily tasks to keep camp running such as, setting up, serving and cleaning up meals, removing trash from the property, and assisting maintenance with miscellaneous projects to help camp stay beautiful! In addition, the crew will have daily devotionals and quiet times on servant leadership. It's a time to make new friendships and to grow deeper in faith and character.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up, serving and cleaning up meals.
- May help setting up hot trays and assisting with food assembly.
- Assist with clean up and washing of dishes.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up camp activities.
- Assist with various camp projects including: gardening/landscaping, cleaning up the property, and minor repairs.

Typical Daily Schedule:
- Breakfast Set Up/Serving/Clean Up: 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Join/Assist with Teen Camp Activities: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Lunch Set Up/Serving/Clean Up: 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM
- Assist with Camp Activities or Projects: 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
- Dinner Set Up/Serving/Clean Up: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
- Join Teen Camp Devotional: 8:30 PM to 10 PM

Qualifications:
- Two recommendations, one being from a current ministry leader (if applicable).
- Clearances and approval from Hope for Kids.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to assist with various tasks.
- Comfortable getting your hands dirty.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Additional Volunteer Perks and Accommodations:
- When not assigned to kitchen tasks, you are welcome to participate in camp activities, devotionals, and enjoy fellowship with other volunteers.
- You will have downtime to relax and connect with fellow volunteers.
- Volunteers will stay in shared accommodations with other volunteers of the same gender, featuring twin camp beds and a shared bathroom.
- The cabins are not air conditioned but most have ceiling fans. Additional fans are available in the Great Hall supply closet if needed.
