Safe Sitter Babysitting Camp
Description
Safe Sitter is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to stay home alone, babysit siblings and start their own babysitting business. It includes safety, business and childcare skills while playing games and role playing. To top off the camp, students learn American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR which includes adult, child, and infant CPR with AED as well as how to hand a choking situation.

CPR certification is NOT guaranteed for attending camp. Campers must be able to perform the skills evaluation to earn their card. Campers will be worked with individually if guidance is needed. Led by ECS LS Nurse, Nurse Ikerd.
