Songwriting is one of the most powerful forms of storytelling and self-expression. Throughout the week, campers will study famous songwriters, analyze meaningful lyrics, and discover how stories and emotions translate into music. We will collaborate, set lyrics to music, and learn basic musical concepts such as chord progressions, rhythm, and song structure. Those who play instruments are encouraged to bring them, but all skill levels are welcome. The week will conclude with a performance and reflection, giving campers a chance to celebrate their creativity and grow musically.
