Safety Town May 8th, 2026
Description
Help your child spark a safe and confident start to kindergarten! Safety Town is a fun, hands-on program designed for preschoolers entering kindergarten in Fall 2026.
Children will rotate through engaging safety stations led by local community experts, exploring real-life skills they’ll use every day, at school, at home, and in their neighborhood.

Bus & Transportation Safety
Fire Safety with Fremont Fire Department
Bike Safety & Helmet Fitting (free helmets provided by Sandusky County Health Department)
Weather & Emergency Preparedness with Sandusky County EMA / 9-1-1 / Homeland Security
EMS & First Responder Awareness
Railroad Safety with Operation Lifesaver
Community Safety & Awareness

Safety Town helps children build confidence, practice independence, and connect with community helpers, all in a safe, supportive, and exciting environment.
