Program Description
Join us for our 2026 Recognition of Excellence Award Ceremony where we will be recognizing our Gold Award Girl Scouts, Silver Award Girl Scouts, Cornelia Benton and National Gold Award Scholarship recipients, and adult award honorees.

The event is free for awardees and one invited guest, but additional guests will need to pay $20. All attendees must be registered to attend, so you’ll need to know the number of guests and their dietary needs at the time of registration. However, guest names are not required. No refunds will be issued after October 17.

Event will be held at the Viridian Event Center in West Jordan.

Registration will close on October 28 at 11:59 p.m.

Timeline
2:15-2:30 p.m. - Gold Award Girl Scouts arrive & Gold Award displays
3:00-5:00 p.m. – Recognition of Excellence Award Ceremony

Before the ceremony, you'll have a chance to learn about this year’s Gold Award projects and take photos with our Girl Scout backdrop. Some award categories will be receiving certificates at check-in and their pins during the ceremony. We will be starting our program promptly at 3:00 p.m. and ask that everyone arrives during our check-in window. There will be additional opportunities for photos after the ceremony is over.

Attire
Dress is semi-formal or Girl Scout Uniform. We do recommend that Girl Scouts wear their sash/vest over their semi-formal clothing for pinning ceremonies.

Notes
*GSUSA Gold Award Scholarship, Gold Award Recipients, Freddie Award Recipients, and Thanks Badge Award Recipients receive two free guest tickets.
