Program Name
Little Bits and Teddy Bear Combo: 7/13-715 at Trefoil Ranch (Entering Grades 2-5)

Program Description
This program is a great introduction to staying away from home and seeing what camp is all about – including a horse experience! Practice some basic horseback riding, learn about riding equipment, and participate in basic horse care at the stables. Create a special bear at our mobile Build-A-Bear Workshop then take them on an adventure around Trefoil Ranch, including a special tea party picnic! Campers will also enjoy a traditional campfire with s’mores, a trip to the bouldering wall, and a project in the art room.

Horseback Riding Programs
Campers in equestrian programs will be grouped according to experience level, and lessons for each group will be geared towards the least-experienced riders. Lessons include riding instruction, stable maintenance, and ground school (learning about the animals and tack and how to care for them).

Horseback riding is a sport that requires physical coordination, balance, and the ability to follow directions. Campers in horseback riding programs will hike to the stables for every horse program block, located three quarters of a mile uphill from the main camp. For everyone’s safety, participants not following directions from equestrian staff will not be permitted to ride. For the soundness and safety of our horses, riders may not exceed 250lbs.
