Camp Midicha Adventurers Campers - Session II
Description
Established in 1955, Camp Midicha is hosted at YMCA Camp Copneconic, an American Camping Association-certified camp. This woodland setting is a wonderful place to commune with nature located in Fenton, just south of Flint, Michigan. Campers will enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, archery, rope courses, sing-a-longs, campfire, arts and crafts, and tons of other fun activities.

A lifeline for children with diabetes, campers develop the critical skills needed to thrive while managing this disease. Attending summer camp helps children develop social skills, self-respect, and lifelong friendships. We give kids the opportunity to meet other kids just like them while fostering independence, building self-confidence, and gaining an awareness of a healthy lifestyle through education, nutrition, exercise, emotional wellbeing, and blood glucose (blood sugar) management.
