High Adventure Team presents NW Odyssey 2025

Want to learn about spelunking? What planet can you see from the Oklahoma Sky in September? What are Selenite Crystals? Come join HAT on our NW Odyssey and find the answers to these questions and more!

We will be driving up to Freedom, OK on Friday and camping at the Alabaster Caverns State Park. On Saturday, we will start Wild Caving (spelunking), exploring 3, maybe 4 wild caves in the area (sometimes on our bellies as we crawl through water and muck!). *Even though the temperatures will be hot up above, down below in the caves, it is nice and cool and full of adventure.

Then on Sunday morning, we will head off to the Great Salt Plains to dig for selenite crystals.

*This is not an activity for anyone who is claustrophobic.

This event is for registered girls ages 11 and up (Cadette & up) and registered adults. Adults must have a current membership and eligible background check on file at council. Tagalongs are not allowed.

Please make transportation arrangements for drop off and pick up.
