Afterglow Volunteer Retreat

Retreat Location: Cape Cod

Dates: September 11-13

Afterglow was created to provide space for EmpowerSCI volunteers to reconnect, reflect, and recharge after the emotional intensity of our Summer Intensive programs. In a healthcare culture that often normalizes burnout and constant productivity, this retreat focuses on community, restorative practice, personal reflection, and sustainable tools that support both the individual and the clinician.

Invitees include individuals who have participated in at least eight Summer Intensives, been involved with EmpowerSCI for five or more years, and/or served in leadership roles within the organization.

Space is limited to 15 participants. Registration and housing are provided at no cost; however, participants are responsible for their own travel expenses. Arrival time for the retreat is 6:00 PM on September 11th, with departure at 12:00 PM on September 13th.

If the retreat reaches capacity before you register, you will automatically be placed on a waitlist and notified if a spot becomes available prior to the event.
