TREK
Description
At TREK, campers will have the opportunity to fully experience the beauty and excitement of God’s creation while hiking part of the lower section of the Appalachian Trail. For 3 days and 2 nights, campers will learn about God’s love for them while hiking, camping under the stars, and being challenged physically and mentally. Campers will start here at North Georgia Christian Camp, eat and meet before driving to the trail entrance, where they will hike a half day followed by a full day, ending the third day with a short hike, and ending with a well deserved victory meal! Parents and campers will be required to attend an online Zoom meeting with the deans this spring before TREK begins to ensure proper gear and to go over expectations.
