Garden to Table (2nd-4th, Week 3)
Description
Camp Director: Caitlyn Glatting

At Garden to Table summer camp, students will discover the essentials of starting an edible garden. They will engage in hands-on activities, from cultivating vegetable seeds to nurturing herb plants. Each day, students will dive into culinary adventures with cooking demonstrations—pickling, crafting salad dressings, creating spreads, and more! The fee covers a container garden to take home, along with all plants and cooking materials. This camp has been designed for students with little or no previous gardening and cooking experience, but previous campers are encouraged to attend

Caitlyn Glatting is founder of local gardening company Grow Your Soul. Rooted in her passion for cultivating green thumbs, she is the current host of The Geneva School Garden Club. A graduate of Rollins College, her background includes work with UF/IFAS Extension, local food systems initiatives, and Farm to School efforts, and she recently earned a master's degree in public health. She has a deep passion for connecting folks with where their food comes from and is excited to share her passion for garden-to-table with campers this summer!
