Camp TPAC: Broadway Battles: Heroes & Villains (Ages 9-12)
Description
Choose your side and get ready for an epic Broadway battle! In CAMP TPAC Broadway Battles: Heroes & Villains, campers will explore what makes a hero heroic, what makes a villain tick, and why the most interesting characters aren’t always as simple as good versus evil. Through acting, music, movement, theatre games, and creative activities, students will build larger-than-life characters while learning how performers use voice, body, relationships, and storytelling to bring them to the stage.

By Friday’s showcase, heroes and villains will meet under the spotlight for one final Broadway battle- but campers may discover that the greatest power isn’t defeating the other side. It’s learning how courage, friendship, teamwork, and a little imagination can help us take on the real world together.

Summer musical theatre camps at TPAC offer weekday camps for ages 9-12. Led by TPAC teaching artists, participants will practice singing, dancing, and acting and discover the excitement of performing on TPAC's stages. Camp TPAC will engage participants in a fun, creative environment that promotes empathy, teamwork, and self-confidence through the performing arts. Each camp week culminates with a performance at 3:00 PM on Friday for family and friends.

CAMP TPAC Broadway Battles: Heroes & Villains has one cohort available: ages 9-12.

Each cohort is assigned a different set of songs within the theme, and all will perform together in the Friday showcase.
