Theater Camp: Summer Performing Arts Intensive- June 8- July 3rd The Summer Performing Arts Intensive is a four-week, multidisciplinary theatre program designed for students in 2nd–8th grades.
This program introduces participants to all major aspects of theatre production, including: Acting, Singing, Dancing, Technical Theatre (Sound & Lighting), Backstage & Stage Management, Theatre Etiquette & Professional Conduct.
The program culminates in a final showcase performance for families and all campers attending summer camp! While the experience includes full theatrical elements (lighting, sound cues, blocking, choreography, and staging), it is intentionally structured as a showcase rather than a fully licensed production, allowing for creative freedom and cost efficiency.
Students will gain hands-on experience in performance and technical theatre, learn theatre etiquette, professionalism, and ensemble behavior, develop confidence, collaboration skills, and stage presence, understand how sound, lights, and backstage elements support storytelling, and participate in a complete production process from rehearsal to performance. This program supports arts education, social-emotional learning, and creative confidence in a structured, age-appropriate environment.
