Welcome to Chicago City Adventure, where urban excitement meets summer fun! Join us for two weeks packed with thrilling activities and iconic Chicago landmarks. Explore Millennium Park, cruise along Lake Michigan, discover the wonders of the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and embrace the energy of Navy Pier. Hike and enjoy the Indiana Dunes beaches. Our camp blends cultural experiences, outdoor adventures, and city exploration, providing an unforgettable summer escape right in the heart of Chicago. Let the Windy City be your playground as you create lasting memories with new friends. This camp will depart MPA at 8:35 a.m. each day and be supervised by two MPA teachers. A schedule of activities will be provided prior to the start of camp. The schedule might change according to the weather. Limited to 12 campers.

In the Fashion Show class, students construct Wearable Art using soft canvas, paper, plastic bags, cardboard boxes, newspapers, other recyclable materials, and paint. Students will create bodywear, headdresses, and accessories. They will construct their creations using glue, staplers, and safety pins (without sawing!) The course will culminate with a runway show, with lights and music, on the stage of our theater. Through the session, students will also explore the overlap of fashion and art, view professional runway shows, and participate in choreographing the final runway extravaganza.
