Pick up and Drop Off

Q:How does pick up and drop off work at camp?
A: Camp Drop Off - After each Monday registration, you will drive to the front of Saint Mary’s and drop your child off at the front where we will have our counselors and Directors there to greet the children each morning. (Please do not allow your child to exit your vehicle until you are in the font of the school as to avoid any issues with children running thru the parking area during peak hours.)

Pick Up Place your vehicle Pick Up Tag in your front passenger side window. Please enter the gates and drive back to the front gates and park. We will have 2 car lines side by side. This will make for easier loading and unloading of the children safely into the cars. We will then call your child’s counselor to bring your child out while you are parking and getting in the pickup line. Please do not try and pull out and cut through the pickup line, as we will be entering the cars on either side of vehicles with small children. We appreciate your patience during pick up.

Bullying Policy

Q:What happens if my child is bullied?
A:BULLYING AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION:
Bullying is any unwanted behavior that involves a power imbalance. Our goal is to stop bullying entirely. If there is disclosure, discovery, or suspicion of bullying, Saint Mary’s staff will handle each instance case by case. Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated. Here at Saint Mary’s, we are building a caring, respectful, honest, and responsible community for all; the safety of our summer program participants is our main concern. Anyone discovered bullying others will be asked to leave camp immediately and without refund.

Swimming

Q:Will my camper swim each day?
A:Swimming:

Each summer camp program has specific times each day for swimming.

Children in grades 1-4 will NOT be allowed to swim in the deep (12ft) end of the pool for any reason regardless of their swimming skills.
Grades 4-8 will be given a swim test by the lifeguards and must pass the test prior to being allowed to swim in the deep end.
If you are concerned about your child’s swimming skills, you are welcome to send them with a life jacket to wear during swimming activities.
