UltraCamp

Q:I forgot my login/password.
A:To retrieve your login or reset your password, click here.

Q:How do I check my camp registration?
A:Log in to your UltraCamp account. Once you have signed in, the landing page will display the name of the primary account holder and account balance. As you scroll down, you’ll be able to check reservations and add people as contacts and/or authorized pickups.

Q:Does ACE offer scholarships for summer camp?
A:ACE offers need-based scholarships covering 50% of camp tuition. Please click here for more information. While awaiting a scholarship award, register and pay the deposit in order to hold your reservation. ACE staff will apply the scholarship award discount to your camp reservation in UltraCamp within 5 business days of the award.

Each child in a family must apply for a scholarship. A scholarship award for a single child may be applied to multiple camp reservations for that child.

***Scholarship award winners are not eligible to stack other discounts with their scholarship.

Q:Does ACE offer discounts for summer camps?
A:Promotional discount codes are obtained onsite at certain community events. If you have received a discount code, you may enter it at checkout on UltraCamp.

Campers who are Florida Air Museum members are eligible to receive a 15% discount on summer camp. To request this discount, email educate@flysnf.org with the child’s name and membership number. Then register and pay the deposit in order to hold your reservation. Upon verification of membership, ACE staff will apply the discount to your camp reservation in UltraCamp within 5 business days of the award.

Q:May I use more than one discount?
A:Discounts are not eligible to be stacked with other discounts on a single camp reservation. In the event of a conflict between eligibility for multiple discounts and/or scholarships, only one discount will be applied to the reservation. The discount applied will be that with the greatest percentage reduction in price.

Q:Is it possible to sponsor a camper?
A:Yes! There are two methods.

For an anonymous sponsorship, click here to make a donation to our summer camp scholarship program.

If you or your organization would like to sponsor a particular camper, you will need to create an organization account on UltraCamp. In order to set up your custom sponsorship, you must email educate@flysnf.org or call the Camp Director 863-904-6821.

A:Yes, all the forms in the Document Center such as waivers, permission slips, health information, etc. are necessary to build a safe environment for your camper.

Q:My child is younger/older than the age listed for the camp on the website s/he wants to attend. Can I still register him/her?
A:If your child’s birth date is one month before or after the required age, you will be able to register him/her for a camp.

Q:May I switch my child from one session to another?
A:We understand that plans change. If you have made a reservation and wish to switch to another session for which the child is eligible, please email educate@flysnf.org for assistance.

Q:I would like all my children to attend the same week of camp but their ages don’t match the available camps. What can I do?
A:We put a lot of thought and planning into creating our camp schedule. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate every family’s unique situation.

Q:My child is on a waitlist. How does that work?
A:Each camp holds 20 seats. After 20 reservations, UltraCamp will begin a waitlist. Once a cancellation occurs, UltraCamp will send an email to the first person on the waitlist. That person has 3 days to accept and make a deposit. If they decline or there is no response, the waitlist moves on to the next person.

Q:May I place them on multiple waitlists?
A:Yes, you may place your child on any waitlist for which they are eligible, and it is recommended.

Q:How do I know my place on the waitlist?
A:UltraCamp does not display waitlist information publicly. If you’d like to know your spot on the waitlist, please email educate@flysnf.org and they will be happy to tell you.

Summer Camp Daily Events

Q:What are the camp hours?
A:Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Friday 9:00am - 12:15 pm.

Q:What should my child wear?
A:Have your child dress appropriately for the activity and the environment. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety. On field trip days, we ask campers to wear the camp t-shirt. Sunscreen, hat, or sunglasses are also a good idea.

Q:What should we bring to camp?
A:Campers should bring their imaginations and a desire to learn! If the schedule shows they will be outdoors or on a field trip, sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle are helpful.

Q:Can I buy extra t-shirts?
A:Yes! During the registration process, you will have an opportunity to add extra shirts. These cost $15.00 each.

It's possible we may have extra shirts once the week has started, as we usually order a few extra, but it depends on the sizes available.

Q:How often do we wear the camp shirt?
A:We ask that each camper wear their camp t-shirt on field trip days and for graduation.

Otherwise, wear it as often as you like. There is an option on UltraCamp to purchase extras as well.

Q:Should we bring an extra change of clothes?
A:It’s not necessary to carry extra clothing. If you think your child might need a set for health and comfort reasons, by all means do so, and we will keep it in the classroom if needed.

Q:How can I get in touch with a staff member during camp?
A:During office hours, and for general questions or modifications which don't require an immediate answer, call (863) 904-4063.

After hours and for urgent communications such as late/early pick-ups, illness, etc., call (863) 608-0555.

For curriculum, instructor, accounts, and specific concerns, call the Camp Director at (863) 904-6821.

Q:What if my child wants to come home early?
A:Sometimes a child will feel anxious or complain of a stomachache. We take their feelings seriously. We will find a quiet place for them to sit, talk with them, and call the primary account holder. If the primary account holder decides they should go home, we will stay with the camper until the primary person arrives.

Q:My child is sick. What do I do about camp?
A:To ensure the safety and well-being of every child under our care, our program has a strict policy regarding communicable (contagious) illnesses. If your child is currently unwell, or displaying symptoms such as fever, stomachache, sore throat, etc., please keep them home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours. If your child falls ill during a camp day, we will call the primary account holder to pick them up.

Q:Where do I bring my child if we arrive late for camp?
A:Please call or text (863) 608-0555 to let staff know you will be arriving late. Late arrivals should escort their child to the Florida Air Museum Front Desk. A counselor will then bring the child to their camp classroom.

Q:May I drop my child off early/pick up later?
A:No. Staff are not scheduled to watch unattended children before camp starts or after camp ends. Please observe the daily schedule of events carefully.

Q:What do I have to know about a field trip day?
A:Field trips are exciting days at camp! We will probably leave earlier than 9 am. Have your child wear their camp t-shirt.

Please watch for emails or texts stipulating a special drop off time. We try and schedule returns to camp before dismissal, but other factors can affect a return time. Please have your cell phones with you to get a call or text from your child or ACE staff. We will update you with estimated return times.

Q:Should we send our child to camp with spending money?
A:We ask that you do not send your child to camp with cash or credit card.

During a field trip, visiting a gift shop takes time away from experiencing the adventure. Chaperones are also not responsible for keeping up with what a child brings on a field trip.

Camp does not include time in the Museum gift shop and the use of the vending machines is not permitted. Family members and guardians are welcome to shop on Friday after camp.

Thank you for understanding.

Q:Will my child fly a plane?
A:Our camps are aviation-focused and several include a Discovery Flight. If they are registered for a camp with a Discovery Flight, the child sits in the co-pilot seat on the flight deck with a Certified Flight Instructor, who is the pilot in command during the flight.

Take Flight is our top-level aviation camp. The flight is a modified version of a cross-country flight. Three campers will share the controls under the direction of a Certified Flight Instructor and land/take off from three airports.

Q:Does my child have to do the Discovery Flight?
A:Sometimes on the day of the Discovery Flight a child will be nervous and not want to climb into the co-pilot seat. These fears are completely understandable. We will not force a child to fly. Often, they change their minds after seeing the smiles and excitement of their friends.

Q:What kinds of activities will my child do?
A:Each camp has a full day of age-appropriate activities built around aerospace and STEM concepts as befitting the topic of the camp.

Q:Are there any field trips?
A:STEMtastic includes one field trip. All other camps include two field trips.

Q:How do I know my child will be safe on field trips?
A:Safety is our utmost priority during camp. Campers will be chaperoned in a 1:5 ratio with ACE staff. No camper is permitted to leave the group.

Q:What happens on graduation?
A:The camp meets in the classroom to finish any tasks and wrap up the week. They then have graduation rehearsal and group photos. Parents can arrive as early as 10:45 for graduation, to enjoy pizza with their child, and see a presentation of their fun week at camp. Dismissal is at 12:15.

Q:My child is leaving camp on Thursday. Will they receive their graduation certificate then?
A:Please let us know if you will be departing early from camp. We will make sure they have a graduation certificate and any other objects they earned or made during camp to bring home with them on Thursday.

Q:Can I watch my child take the Discovery Flight?
A:Family and friends are welcome to join us at the airport.

Unfortunately, we do not have room on the bus for extra passengers.

The airport has a strict enforcement of policy regarding non-flyers. For the safety of all, remain behind the white line. You will not be able to accompany your child to the airplane, but you can take pictures from the safety zone. We will also have our own photographer document this exciting moment.

Q:Are parents allowed to chaperone on a field trip?
A:For all our camps, instructors, staff, and camp counselors serve as chaperones for the campers.

If a field trip is to a tourist venue, such as Kennedy Space Center, you may meet us there and join your child.

If a field trip is to a place not generally open to the public, such as Jet Blue or NOAA, then only camp participants are permitted to attend.

We will not have space in the vans or buses for those not registered in the camp to ride.

Food and Beverage

Q:What meals are included with camp registration?
A:Lunch is served at noon.

The younger camps receive a snack, and bottled water is located in every classroom. Gatorade is offered at lunch along with water.

Q:Can my child bring a snack?
A:A snack is provided in the STEMtastic camp but not in the others. If your child is hungry and needs additional food besides lunch, then they are welcome to bring a snack.

Please speak with staff or the instructor for the best time and place, as the schedule may find the camp using equipment or off-site.

Q:What is for lunch?
A:ACE provides a wholesome, child-friendly lunch as part of your camp fees. Typically, it is a sandwich, bag of chips, piece of fruit, and dessert. On Fridays, it is tradition to have pizza at graduation.

The menu varies from day-to-day. Please call (863) 904-4063 or email educate@flysnf.org if you have concerns about what your child will be eating.

Q:What if my child gets a camp lunch and doesn't like what's offered?
A:Children can be picky eaters! No one knows them better than you. We don't want a child to go hungry. In the rare case a lunch is rejected, ACE keeps a supply of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as an option. Please consider choosing Lunch from Home during registration to ensure they always have something they like, or email educate@flysnf.org to learn the posted menu.

Q:My child is signed up for Lunch from Home but decided they want Camp Lunch. Are they allowed to switch?
A:ACE submits a lunch count in advance of the camp's start date based upon responses received at registration. Please help your child understand they will need to abide by the decision you made at registration. The last date to make modifications to your registration is May 16, 2026.

Q:My child can't eat dairy, but I still think they can enjoy Camp Lunch. Are any dietary restrictions taken into account?
A:We understand there can be serious health issues when it comes to food.

An important thing to do is bring up all the health concerns your child has and list them on the health form.

We will not be able to control all the ingredients a lunch may contain. However, for a sandwich that is often topped by a slice of cheese, we will order several without cheese.

If your child has a health issue due to a food, please consider bringing lunch from home. Email educate@flysnf.org or call (863) 904-4063 with concerns or questions.
