Summer@CMDS Permission SlipWe are pleased to offer a special optional activity for rising 3rd–7th grade campers enrolled in Summer@CMDS. Each Friday from 1:30–2:30 p.m., campers may participate in a supervised walking outing to a nearby Laurelwood shopping center establishment, either Frost Bakery or Dinstuhl’s Fine Candy Company.
If you choose to allow your child to participate, please ensure that he/she brings sufficient funds to purchase a snack or small item, if desired. Usually $5 is plenty to get a treat.
By selecting “Yes,” you grant permission for your child to walk with CMDS staff to and from the designated off-campus locations each Friday during Summer@CMDS. You acknowledge that CMDS staff will provide appropriate supervision and take reasonable safety precautions, and you understand that participation involves normal, inherent risks associated with walking off campus and visiting public venues.
By selecting “No,” your child will remain on campus during this time and will participate in an alternative on-campus activity with another group.
