Our junior volunteer roles embody Romans 12:1-2: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
Serving as a junior volunteer is an opportunity to connect with God through service, build memories, grow in character, have fun, and serve God.

2025/2026 Hope For Kids Participant Conditions of Enrollment1. Eligibility
Age Requirements: Campers and volunteers must be with the identified ages for the program they wish to participate in.
Health Requirements: Campers and volunteers must be in good health and able to safely participate in camp activities.
Character References: Volunteers and some participants are required to submit character references prior to acceptance into a program.
2. Application and Registration
Application Form: All applicants must complete and submit the camp application form along with any required documentation.
Deposit: For programs A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a spot. This deposit will be applied to the total camp fee. (This does not apply to adult volunteers). For programs that requires character references, securing a spot is contingent on submission and approval. If you are not accepted into a program, your deposit will be returned.
Confirmation: Enrollment is confirmed only after receipt of the completed application, health form, and deposit. For roles requiring character references, determination and confirmation will be emailed separately. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Fees and Payment
Camp Fees: The total camp fee varies by program and can be identified at www.hopeforkids.org. Fees include accommodation, meals, activities, t-shirt, and materials.
Payment Schedule: The remaining balance must be paid prior to the start of camp session.
Refund Policy:
Full refund (minus deposit) if cancellation is made more than four weeks before the camp start date.
50% refund if cancellation is made between two to four weeks before the camp start date.
No refund if cancellation is made less than two weeks before the camp start date.
Refunds may be made on a case-by-case basis
4. Camp Rules and Behavior
Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to adhere to the camp's code of conduct, which includes respect for campers, volunteers, staff, and camp property. The Code of Conduct can be found at www.hopeforkids.org and should be reviewed prior to the start of your camp session.
Prohibited Items: Campers are not allowed to bring prohibited items such as drugs, alcohol, weapons, and inappropriate materials. Additional information can be found in the Code of Conduct referenced above.
Behavioral Issues: Any camper who poses a risk to themselves or others, or who continually disrupts camp activities, may be sent home at the discretion of Hope for Kids. No refunds will be issued in such cases. This also applies to instances of extreme homesickness.
5. Medical and Emergency Information
First Aid: Parents/guardians must provide written consent (via participant application) for the camp staff and volunteers to administer basic first aid and seek emergency medical treatment if necessary.
Medications: All medications must be in their original container and handed to the camp nurse upon arrival. Campers are not permitted to keep medication in their possession.
6. Liability and Insurance
Liability Waiver: Parents/guardians must sign a liability waiver releasing Hope for Kids and its staff from any claims for injuries or damages incurred during camp activities.
Insurance: It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure that their child has adequate health insurance coverage for the duration of the camp.
7. Photography and Media
Consent: By enrolling in Camp Hope for Kids, parents/guardians consent to the use of photographs and videos of their child for camp promotional purposes.
8. Transportation
Arrival and Departure: Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the camp. Detailed arrival and departure instructions will be provided upon confirmation of enrollment.
Pick-Up Procedure: At drop-off, parents must identify who will be picking their child up from camp. The person picking up the child must provide proper identification.
9. Communication
Emergency Contact: Parents/guardians must provide an emergency contact number and be reachable during camp hours.
Camper Communication: Campers are not permitted to bring cell phones. In case of emergency, parents/guardians can contact the camp office directly at any time.
10. Mandatory Reporters
Mandatory Reporting: All camp staff and volunteers are designated as mandatory reporters and are legally required to report any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities. By enrolling their child in Camp Hope for Kids, parents/guardians acknowledge and understand this obligation.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling Participant First Name Participant Last Name at Camp at Hope for Kids, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Conditions of Enrollment.
2025/2026 Hope For Kids Waiver of Liability (Minors)I, the undersigned, am the parent or legal guardian of the registered participant (hereinafter referred to as "Participant"). I hereby give my full consent and approval for the Participant to participate in all activities associated with Camp Hope for Kids (hereinafter referred to as "Camp").
1. Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that participation in camp activities, including but not limited to sports, swimming, hiking, and other recreational activities, involves inherent risks of physical injury, illness, or other harm. I acknowledge that these risks include but are not limited to, accidents, falls, weather conditions, contact with other participants, and the potential for exposure to infectious diseases.
2. Assumption of Risk
I assume all risks and hazards incidental to the Participant's involvement in all camp activities, including transportation to and from these activities. I understand that the Participant's participation in the Camp is voluntary and that they may withdraw from participation at any time.
3. Release and Waiver
In consideration of the Participant being allowed to attend and participate in the Camp, I, on behalf of myself, the Participant, and our respective heirs, successors, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Camp Hope for Kids, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or illness that may be sustained by the Participant while participating in the Camp, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
4. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or related to the Participant's involvement in the Camp, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
5. Medical Treatment
I hereby give my consent and authorize the Camp staff to provide basic first aid treatment to the Participant in the event of an injury or illness. If the injury or illness requires further medical attention, I authorize the Camp staff to seek medical treatment at the nearest healthcare facility. I understand that I will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
6. Photographic Release
I grant permission to Camp Hope for Kids to use photographs, video recordings, or any other record of the Participant's activities at the Camp for promotional purposes, without compensation or further notice.
7. Governing Law
This waiver and release of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Camp is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
8. Severability
If any provision of this waiver and release of liability is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Hope for Kids Waiver of LiabilityI, the registered participant, (hereinafter referred to as "Participant") hereby give my full consent and approval to participate in all activities associated with Camp Hope for Kids (hereinafter referred to as "Camp").
