Jewelry MakingJewelry can be made of various materials including: beads, shells, metals, glass, etc. You will have the chance to design and make several pieces of jewelry that you can keep or give away as gifts.

Needle CraftA stitch in time, saves nine … But these are different stitches. Campers will learn the art of cross stitch and how to turn a simple “X” stitch into a beautiful picture. The skills the camper learns in this activity can be used long after camp has ended.
Orienteering
Outdoor CookingHave you ever wanted to cook on an open fire? Learn how to make biscuits on a stick, muffins in an orange peel, Ziploc omelets and bake cookies in a paper box. You will prepare, cook and enjoy each delicious item as you learn various ways to cook outdoors.

Archery - CLOSED - FULLLearn how to safely shoot a bowand arrow. Shoot for scores to progress through the levels. Completed levels are kept from year to year. Must have completed 3rd grade to participate. Classes taught both on-site and off-site by Camp Cherith staff.
High Adventure SportsGroup initiatives, ropes course, climbing wall. Counts as two activity periods. Off-site activity run by Clemson University Outdoor Lab's Team Ventures and supervised by Camp Cherith staff.
HorsemanshipLearn how to ride and care for a horse. Counts as two activity periods. Must have long pants (preferably blue jeans) and boots or closed toe shoes with a small heel. Off-site activity run by a local company and supervised by Camp Cherith staff.
RifleryLearn how to safely shoot a .22 rifle. Shoot for scores to progress through the levels. Completed levels are kept from year to year. Must have completed 6th grade to participate. Off-site activity taught by Camp Cherith staff.
Wake BoardingLearn how to wake board, or improve your ability. Must have completed 7th grade AND taken water skiing previously at Camp Cherith in the Carolinas. On-site activity taught by Camp Cherith staff and supervised by life guards.
