The Children's Hospital Colorado Burn Camps Program is a camp program that helps children connect with peers who understand the fears and pain of overcoming a burn injury, no matter the size.
The mission is to improve the lives of burn-injured children through the use of enriched curriculum and path of adventure in a safe environment. We strive to impart the imagination, genuine character, and confidence to inspire campers to have the ability and courage to thrive throughout their own recoveries and beyond.
The Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Camps serves children with burn injuries treated at Children’s Hospital Colorado and our network of referring hospitals.This way any follow-up concerns can be communicated back to the referring hospital and there is continuation of care. To be eligible, you should have received information about this program from a health care provider where you have been treated for your burn injury.
