Description
Junior High Camp (Grades 7-9) gives you the opportunity to create your own camp experience by choosing the activities for each day. Only time limits the number of adventure, offsite, or in-camp activities that campers may choose. Make it an "Outdoor High Adventure Camp" by choosing the high adventure activities. Make it a "Water Fun Camp" by choosing the water activities. Mix it up and enjoy a great week of camp at the Camp Lookout Junior High Camp. Along with all the great activities, each camper will be a part of all the fun and excitement of the total camp community through special evening celebrations, Bible studies, worship, cabin devotions, and of course all the great singing, and exciting camp stuff that is planned! Each evening will feature a super special event planned specifically for our Junior High campers (during Junior High Camps, the entire camp is devoted to junior high aged youth) – these activities are wild and crazy – to say the least!!! This will be an exciting week that will also be special in the spiritual life of each camper.

Camper Activities List: Swimming, water slide, crafts, bouldering wall, creek walk, nature classes, nature hike, fishing, indoor and outdoor games, group dancing, night hike, frisbee golf, snorkeling at pool, 9-iron golf, archery, campouts, low ropes course, group initiatives, mountain biking, paddling on the lake, guitar class, art/painting class, climbing/rappelling wall, full ropes course and v-swing, and visiting the horses at the Camp Lookout Barn. Off-site activities include Cloudland Canyon State Park, Chickamauga National Battlefield, caving, mountain biking, rappelling, rock climbing, and whitewater paddling (lower Hiwassee).

Junior High Camp (Grades 7-9) begins Monday 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and ends Friday with a 2:00 p.m. closing.

Early Check InAll camp sessions begin on Monday 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and end Friday with a 2:00 p.m. closing unless otherwise stated in the session description. Early Check-in is available for families who need to drop off their camper(s) on Sunday evening rather than Monday morning for a limited number of sessions. The fee for this service is
$45.00 per camper. Campers can check in on Sunday evening at 7pm. An evening snack and breakfast are provided. Campers in the following sessions are not eligible for the early check-in program: A Taste of Camp, Junior High Service Week, and Celebration Camp.

A discount on the camp fee will be given to Campers who enroll in camp on or before April 1, 2015. Mailed or on-line registrations must be dated on or before April 1. $25.00Recruit a New Camper DiscountIf you are a camper who has been to a Holston Conference camp in a previous summer, you are eligible for the "Recruit a New Camper Discount". By recruiting a first-time camper, you will receive a $25.00 discount on your registration fee. This discount is limited to one "New Camper" per registration. It can be used with other discounts and/or camperships. Your recruit does not have to attend the same session or even the same site. Please have the registration name of your recruit at the time of your registration.
