Whitewater Kayaking I (Grades 7-12)
Description
Our experienced kayak instructors will begin with campers at the pool learning about safety, paddling techniques, and terminology of kayaking. As the week progresses campers will learn maneuvers on an area lake and on rivers. No experience or equipment is required. This session is especially designed for campers with no kayaking experience. Campers will not miss out on traditional experiences at camp.
• Five nights and six days (Sunday 4pm – Friday 2pm)
• Six male and six female campers will be with two counselors/mentors
• Campers stay in the new rustic bunkhouses
