TECH ESSENTIALS/PYTHON WITH CHESS & MUSIC CAMP

Tech Essentials:
Our week-long G Suite Learning Camp introduces students to essential digital tools they will use throughout their school years. Through fun, hands-on activities, children learn how to create documents in Google Docs, organize information in Google Sheets, design simple surveys and quizzes using Google Forms, and build engaging presentations with Google Slides.

The camp focuses on practical skills such as typing, formatting, basic data organization, collaboration, and responsible online behavior. Lessons are age-appropriate, interactive, and project-based, helping children gain confidence while learning to work independently and as a team.

Python

This beginner-friendly Python component introduces students to the basics of coding through fun, guided activities. Campers learn simple programming concepts such as commands, sequences, loops, and logic while creating small programs and challenges. Using an age-appropriate approach, Python helps students build problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence in coding in a supportive, hands-on environment.

No prior experience is needed. Just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.

Chess

Even young learners can master the basics of chess in a fun, supportive environment. Students learn how each piece moves, understand simple strategies, and play friendly matches with fellow campers. Chess helps build patience, focus, planning skills, and critical thinking while encouraging sportsmanship and confidence.

Music

The music component introduces children to rhythm, melody, and sound through engaging, hands-on activities. Campers explore basic musical concepts using singing, movement, simple instruments, and interactive games. Music sessions encourage self-expression, listening skills, coordination, and creativity—adding a joyful, expressive balance to the camp experience.

You may drop your child anytime for Morning Extended Care from 8:00am - 9:00 am at ICC Milpitas at an additional cost of $49. 		+ $49.00
