Magic with Micro:Bit

Welcome to our Microbit camp- a fun-filled program designed to introduce kids to the world of coding and technology! This camp is perfect for kids who are interested in learning about the latest advancements in digital technology and want to explore the endless possibilities of coding. In this camp, kids will get hands-on experience with Microbit technology, which is an easy-to-use, pocket-sized computer that can be programmed to perform a variety of tasks. Over the course of the camp, participants will learn how to write code and will use their newly acquired skills to create their own projects. Our experienced instructors will guide the participants through the learning process, providing support to ensure that every child gets the most out of the program. They will also participate in group projects and collaborate with other participants, which will enhance their teamwork and communication skills. Some of the exciting activities that kids will get to experience include:

Creating a Microbit-powered game or application

Running a car using Microbit technology

Programming Microbit to control lights, motors, and other devices

Experimenting with sensors to collect data and create interactive projects

3D Printing

3D Design & Printing
This program introduces students to the exciting world of 3D design and printing. Students will create their own digital designs and watch their creations come to life on a 3D printer. It’s the perfect mix of creativity and technology!
Benefits & Goals: Understanding the basics of 3D designing and 3D printing, fostering creativity, and gaining hands-on tech experience.

World Exploration

Students will dive into cultures, cuisines, languages, geography, and the wonders of the world, discovering fun facts along the way. The camp concludes with a collaborative activity — the WORLD WRAP, where children use one ingredient from each continent to create a global-inspired dish.

You may drop your child anytime for Morning Extended Care from 8:00am - 9:00 am at ICC Milpitas at an additional cost of $49. 		+ $49.00
