Description

Join us for an overnight Retreat!  Our mini-intensive retreats are designed to be both fun and inspiring.  Teens will have time to socialize with friends, participate in workshops and various activities, as well as share their voice and perspectives on topics that are meaningful to them.  While each retreat we offer has a different focus, these programs are generally focused on personal growth, creating an inclusive and equitable community, and developing leadership skills.  Topics can range throughout any of our core focus areas, including community service, the environment, creative arts, healthy living, preparing for the future, learning communication skills, and building social skills.  During these retreats, youth have the opportunity for self discovery, including their leadership goals, style, and focus.

Teen Leadership Retreat, 9th-12th grade:

Join us for an amazing weekend with Camp Fire Central Puget Sound at the beautiful Camp Sealth on Vashon Island in Washington.  This is an incredible opportunity to meet Camp Fire teens from another council, make new friends, and learn valuable leadership skills.

There will be leadership workshops, including resume and interview skills, challenge initiatives, conflict and communication strategies, stress coping techniques, time management and planning strategies, environmental stewardship and sustainability leadership, and more.  And, of course, time for fun camp activities!

This an especially great opportunity for our former and future CIT’s!    Learn more here.

We will leave Bend right after school on Friday, meet place TBD based on participants, and return to Bend in the late afternoon on Monday.  There will also be time built in for homework so you are ready to go back to school on Tuesday!

Note: *Minimum of 4 to go. Meals and Transportation included.
