Camp is a real adventure for young, exploring minds. The days are full of energy, activity, discussion and new friends. A new sense of independence and confidence is one of the many by-products of the
camp experience — even for the younger campers.

This camp event is specially designed to provide an exciting introduction to camp for the first-time camper. The event, three days and two nights, is long enough to become comfortable with camp life
and short enough that campers rarely have difficulty being away from home for what may be their first time. The camper-counselor ratio in each cabin is low to assure personal “mom or dad-like” attention.

The camp schedule provides routine for the days so campers quickly become comfortable in the camp setting. Arts and crafts, swimming, boating, nature hikes, cooperative games and other exciting activities
expand these new campers’ horizons.

Campers and parents are always invited to call or to send an e-mail note to Pilgrim Center, with questions— or simply to learn more about camp. Our goal is to make sure you are comfortable and excited to
come to camp!

ScholarshipsSCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE. Talk with your pastor, Christian education director, camp coordinator, youth leader, or men’s and women’s groups to find out if they offer any scholarship help for members of your church. Often churches and church groups are happy to assist any and all campers attending camp from their church. In addition to any support from your home church UCCI has established a scholarship fund through the generosity of past campers. Scholarship application forms are available on our web site at www.ucci.org or by contacting the Managing Director at the site you are planning to attend. All scholarship inquiries are confidential.
