Description:	The bus leaves Amity Acres Day Camp by 9:30 am and arrives at Chariot Riders, Manchester where all participants receive horse safety instruction, riding lessons and barn management. Girls will, if time permits, do arts & crafts, games and other activities on site. Once returning to Amity Acres Day Camp girls will be permitted to swim if time permits. Horse activities are subject to weather conditions and may be adjusted accordingly. No reimbursement will be given for program adjustments. Campers participating in horseback riding are required to wear approved safety helments, which are provided. Long pants, closed toe/clesed heel, hard-soled shoes with up to a one inch flat heel are required. Discounts may not be applied to horse programs. Girls without a signed Health History and a horse rider's release form will not be permitted to participate in the horse program. No refunds will be given and missed days may not be made up in a different week. Girls will connect with the horse world as they learn a little about caring for horses, the difference between western and english riding (we use the english system), equipment, riding apparel, and are introduced to riding and barn management. Girls will ride 30-45 minutes each day and our riding program is progressive; each girl moving through skills based on her own pace. View all upcoming sessions
