October Full Hunter's Moon Hike
Description
Monday, October 26 is the day of The Full Hunter’s Moon. We’ll be hoping for clear skies so that we can watch the Moon rise from the hilltop behind the All Seasons Barn. The walk will include a little poetry as well as a discussion of what causes the phases of the Moon. Then we’ll go out onto the sanctuary for a walk through the fields, around the farm pond and into the woods to enjoy the natural world as dusk turns to dark. Perhaps we’ll run into some goblins preparing for Halloween! We’ll return to the high ground to watch the Moon rise in the east while we enjoy a some hot apple cider.

Children ages 10 and older are welcome to register if accompanied by a registered adult.
