Junior High Retreat
Description
This event is an invitation for youth in grades 6-8 to explore the identity they have been given through their faith by walking teens through the Lord’s Prayer, which assures us we have been given the title of heirs—adopted into God’s kingdom and claimed as his own. We plan to offer a chance to get loose, be free, pause, and doodle your thoughts and feelings along the way.

We've made several adjustments since last year's retreat! Thank you to everyone who provided constructive feedback!

When: April 27, 10 am to April 28, 2 pm, 2024
(Adult Staff and High School Youth Staff arrive Friday, April 26, 7 pm)
Where: St. Michael and All Angels, Mission
Who: Youth in grades 6-8; High School youth and College students are invited and welcome to serve on staff.
Fee: $65, includes all meals and a personal copy of the Teen ‘Zine for each participant
Priority deadline: Sunday, April 21 (fee increases by $15 after this date)

What is is like for high school youth to serve on staff?
High School students can choose from several available staff positions depending on their interest. We need young people to serve as family group leaders, kitchen staff, photographers, gophers, and musicians. Regardless of your position, all participants get a copy of the Teen ‘Zine and can explore their faith along with the Junior High youth.
