Leaders in Training 2024 - Session A - July 15-19
Description
Open to participants entering 8th grade.

In Leaders in Training, participants build and enhance their leadership skills focusing on social and emotional learning, promoting positivity, a growth mindset, and creating a safe place for campers to be their best and be accepting of others. LITs also learn how to belay at our ropes course. Our 1:10 staff-to-LIT ratio allows for personalized observation and feedback to most effectively train our future leaders and fill their leadership toolkits. Upon successful completion of the one-week LIT program or with a recommendation from staff, LIT graduates may be a CIT the following year.

LITs will be engaging with the Trail Blazer program, learning skills in child safety and group management. Since the Trail Blazers have a dinner, campfire, and overnight on Wednesdays, the LITs also have a dinner, campfire, and overnight on Wednesdays! Wednesday dinner and Thursday breakfast and lunch are included in registration.
