CODE A DIGITAL STORY
Let’s create a story, illustrate it, and make a digital version of it using visual block programming.
In this camp, students will build story-writing, drawing, and computer coding skills. They will create a story around a theme. An art teacher will offer drawing lessons that will help students with story illustration.

Once the story is ready, we will create a digital version of it. Students will learn to write code using blocks in Scratch Junior or Scratch. Coding concepts such as sequencing, event handling, coordination, broadcasting will be covered. Students will get an unique opportunity to express themselves through their very own digital stories.

Note: Bring your own laptop or tablet. Please install Scratch Jr. app on the tablet. We will provide a tablet if you are unable to bring one.

CHEF BAKERS CAMP:
Tie on your apron and get out the flour – we’re going to become baking masters! Cheesecake, Cookies, Pies, Cakes, Cake Decoration and more!
For five fun filled days, young Chefs will experience a world of hands-on baking and cooking with their peers and take home the delicious menu that is lined up for you this week. We'll cover fundamentals such as, how to read and follow a recipe, measuring and mixing, and the importance of kitchen safety. Best of all, we'll have a blast creating sweet treats. Whether your little chef is a beginner or an old pro, they will love learning how to make lovely baked goods, all from scratch, to impress their family and friends.
