Week 5-8 : Leader in Training (LIT) II
Description
The LIT program is one of the most memorable and for many, life-changing, experiences at camp for youth. It will challenge you mentally, physically and spiritually as you work to earn certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR, Wilderness First Aid, and Sailing. LIT's will also have the opportunity to learn and apply skills and knowledge on how to work with children and youth in a Christian camp setting by delivering the week long Voyages day camp program.

Who should apply? Anyone who is in the 10th - 12th grade, has an interest in working with children, and who want to participate in a four week long intensive leadership training program. Applicants must be 16 years old by the course completion dates and prior camper experience at Don Lee is not required to apply. Participants are selected based on the leadership potential they have demonstrated at school, camp, church or other setting. Each applicant is evaluated on her/his own merits. Preference is given to older, qualified candidates. Competition is strong, so submit your application and references by deadline. Applications for the LIT program can be found on the Don Don Lee Center's website and are typically online mid September and due by the end of October. For specific dates please visit our website (www.donleecenter.org)
