DJ Academy Level 1
Grades 3rd-7th
Learn how to mix your favorite music and be the life of the party! In this unique camp, each student will have their own DJ workstation, complete with laptop, thousands of popular songs, a Pioneer DJ Controller, and headphones. Campers will explore the principles of song structure, tempos, and phrasing, and will learn techniques such as beat matching, cue points, and EQ mixing to seamlessly transition from song to song. campers will have the opportunity to show off what they have learned by performing a short live set on the final day of camp.
