Kandinsky Canvases and Cookies
Description
Kandinsky Canvases and Cookies
Grades 1-3
Dive into the colorful, abstract work of Wassily Kandinsky, a Russian painter and art theorist. Campers will study Kandinsky’s unique use of line, shape, and perspective as they create their own brightly colored canvases. Each day, the artistry extends beyond the canvas as campers swap their painter’s smock for aprons, diving into a delectable cookie baking adventure. From snickerdoodles to sugar rolled, sugar dropped, chocolate chip and a camper’s choice cookie, this unique fusion of art and baking promises to satisfy both your creative spirit and sweet cravings.
