Executive Functioning & Study Skills Session 2
Description
In this 8-week course, students will meet from 4:00-5:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, expanding upon the study skills and executive functioning skills being taught during middle school advisory. Students will dive deeper into an understanding of their academic habits and strategies where they will be able to independently create systems that improve and promote their executive functioning skills. Topics include stress management, time management, planning/prioritizing and self-advocacy as well as study and test taking strategies. Students will learn how to leverage their independence through executive functioning skills to feel empowered and confident as they transition through middle school and prepare for high school and beyond.
