Week 4 (Rising 4th-5th Grade)
Description
Camps for students entering 4th and 5th grades in the upcoming school year.

In order to complete registration, you will need to select a class in each of the following categories, Creativity, Discovery, Movement and Performance

These selections are for Full Day Adventure Camps. Check out the Flex Camp options for specialized half day camps.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Family: If you cancel your registration at least two weeks before the class begins, we will refund tuition, less a $50 cancellation fee per class. If you cancel your registration less than two weeks before the class starts, no refund will be given.

Cancellation by Bosque School: We reserve the right to cancel a class based on safety protocols or if enrollment is insufficient. Any tuition paid will be refunded in full or a student can select an alternate program to attend.

Whether you already love to craft with beads and string or are brand new this camp is for you. We will have a wide variety of beads, strings, yarn and more to help you create our daily projects or come up with something new and original on your own!
The Clay Camp 3
Led By: Madee Williams

Get crafty with clay! In this course, you will create clay pieces while experimenting with different techniques and styles. We will work with various clays, such as Model Magic, and we will even make our own playdough! Take a piece through fire and finish in this week-long process.
Movement
Cooperative Games 3
Led by: Steven Guerrera

Team up and jump into this weeklong adventure in the gym. Campers will learn a variety of physical education games that are focused on teamwork, problem-solving, and most importantly fun!
Rock Climbing 3
Led by: Sheila Grijalva
Bosque School

Learn the fundamentals of climbing, from ropes and carabiners to footholds and handholds! You’ll develop core strength and balance through exercises and work on slacklines, and you will even get the opportunity to test out your skills on the rock wall during this action-packed week. All levels are welcome, and we will challenge everyone to learn new techniques in accordance with their abilities.

Gardening 3

What even grows in New Mexico? Can I plant my apple seeds and a tree will grow? Find out the answers to these questions and more as we explore the vegetation that grows around our city. In this camp we will also get our hands dirty as we plant seeds that campers will be able to take home. We will also learn about composting and why worms are so important.
Science Rules! 3
Led By: Holly Briggs

From experiments to exploration this class will show you just why science rules! During this week we will conduct awesome experiments and discuss the science involved. Learn about earth science and even explore the bosque with a researcher’s eye and discover why porcupines and so many others make their homes in this amazing ecosystem.
Performance
Jam Session 3
Led By: Julia Manganaro

Your voice is an amazing instrument! Do you know that string instruments are the closest instruments to your own singing voice? This class will provide you with the knowledge to train your voice and to accompany yourself by playing along on a variety of instruments. At the end of the week, you will have the opportunity to show off your new skills during a live performance.
Lights, Camera, Action 3
Led by: Rachel Hastings

This week-long camp all starts with an idea. Campers will be able to decide if they want or make a short film or music video. From there we will learn about and create a storyboard, scout locations and finally grab a camera and say action! To wrap up the week, campers will learn basic editing and put it all together.

Before care is available from 7:30-8:30 am for the 8 weeks of our regular summer program.

Families may also drop into before care. Daily drop in rate for before care of $20 per day. If families drop in more than two days per week they will be charged the weekly charge of $40. 		+ $40.00
Weekly After Care

After Care is available from 3:30-6:00 pm for the 8 weeks of our regular summer program.

Families may also drop into after care at any time. Daily drop in rate for after care of $40 per day. If families drop in more than three days per week they will be charged the weekly charge of $100. 		+ $100.00
