Week 1 (Rising 4th-5th Grade)
Description
Camps for students entering 4th and 5th grades in the upcoming school year.

In order to complete registration, you will need to select a class in each of the following categories, Creativity, Discovery, Movement and Performance

These selections are for Full Day Adventure Camps. Check out the Flex Camp options for specialized half day camps.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Family: If you cancel your registration at least two weeks before the class begins, we will refund tuition, less a $50 cancellation fee per class. If you cancel your registration less than two weeks before the class starts, no refund will be given.

Cancellation by Bosque School: We reserve the right to cancel a class based on safety protocols or if enrollment is insufficient. Any tuition paid will be refunded in full or a student can select an alternate program to attend.

Creativity
Chill Crafts 3
Led by: Meghan Bode
Bosque School

This corner of the crafting world is so chill. Join us for a week filled with daily craft activities including beads, gems, string and more. We will even discover the basic skills for embroidery.
Painters' Studio 3
Led by: Jayden Mansell

Your very own masterpiece is just a few brushstrokes away! This art camp is an exciting introduction to the fundamentals of painting with watercolors and tempera paint. You’ll learn how to use just your brush and paints to express yourself through color, shape, and texture. What will you create?
Movement
Martial Arts 3
Led By: Kainoa Stokes
Bosque School Alum

Join Kainoa Stokes for this basic hand to hand martial arts class. In this week-long course you will learn basic strikes and blocks. Campers will also learn to demo these skills at the end of the week. Campers will get the opportunity to learn basic throws using safety mats.
Yoga 3
Led by: Hannah Robbs

Your body and your breath—bring them together in the ancient practice of yoga. Build your strength and flexibility as you learn how to practice the asanas in our lively and challenging classes. Play games with the poses you'll learn during the week. This camp is for yogis of all levels. Please bring a mat if you have one.
Discovery
Digital Art 3
Led by: Jayden Mansell
Bosque School Alum

In this introduction to digital arts learn the basics about the Adobe Suite. Practice the basics of photo editing and creating new digital pieces from scratch. Students will also interact with digital photography and basic editing and enhancements you can make to your art.
Gardening 3
Led By: Tammy Aurelio

What even grows in New Mexico? Can I plant my apple seeds and a tree will grow? Find out the answers to these questions and more as we explore the vegetation that grows around our city. In this camp we will also get our hands dirty as we plant seeds that campers will be able to take home. We will also learn about composting and why worms are so important.
Performance
Lights, Camera, Action 3
Led by: Rachel Hastings

This week-long camp all starts with an idea. Campers will be able to decide if they want or make a short film or music video. From there we will learn about and create a storyboard, scout locations and finally grab a camera and say action! To wrap up the week, campers will learn basic editing and put it all together.
Step onto the Stage 3
Led by: Hannah Robbs

Bring your favorite stories to life on the stage! We’ll adapt favorite fables, fairy tales, and picture books for performance as we bring scriptwriting and stage work together. We will also learn basic improv games and play them all week long.

Before care is available from 7:30-8:30 am for the 8 weeks of our regular summer program.

Families may also drop into before care. Daily drop in rate for before care of $20 per day. If families drop in more than two days per week they will be charged the weekly charge of $40. 		+ $40.00
Weekly After Care

After Care is available from 3:30-6:00 pm for the 8 weeks of our regular summer program.

Families may also drop into after care at any time. Daily drop in rate for after care of $40 per day. If families drop in more than three days per week they will be charged the weekly charge of $100. 		+ $100.00
