Civics - 2311
Description
Civics is a semester-long course open to rising juniors and seniors. In this course, students will develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes that will prepare them to be competent and responsible citizens throughout their lives. Students will learn how to address government institutions and discuss current events. Finally, students will participate in service learning and simulations of the democratic process. This course fulfills the Civics graduation requirement and is also offered during the school year.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of U.S. History

Please note: The school will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth and Thursday, July 3rd AND Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
