Executive Functioning Skills
Description
This course, offered for incoming freshmen, is designed to help students make successful transitions from eighth grade into their freshman years. Students will develop organizational, note-taking, and study skills, as well as strategies for planning and prioritization, assignment completion and self-monitoring, and self-advocacy. Students will also build familiarity with Schoology and Google Drive and will develop skills and confidence for communicating with their teachers and class counselors.

Students must independently purchase the required course text, listed below, in hard copy by the first day of class. The text will be available via BNC, Fenwick’s online bookstore, at https://bnck-12.com/fenwick.

Please note: Class times cannot be requested: you will receive a schedule in June. Class is held Monday through Thursday.

Please note: The school will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth and Thursday, July 3rd AND Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
