SAT Prep- Middle School
Description
This camp is designed for rising seventh and eighth graders who would like an early jumpstart on SAT preparation. Starting in 2024, the SAT will be offered only in digital format; the paper and pencil test will no longer be offered. This camp will demystify the SAT for the younger student. Students will learn the structure of the SAT’s three sections: The Reading Test, The Writing and Language Test, and the Math Test, along with how the test is scored. Students will also learn practical test-taking strategies and how to maneuver the digital format. Most importantly, students will be exposed to the content of the SAT, practice problems, and at least one practice test. Instruction will combine time on a digital device and time with paper and pencil; students will not be on a screen the entire time. There will be a small homework component to this camp. Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart does not guarantee any score results or score improvement. This session DOES NOT include lunch for your camper. Lunch can be added in the Options menu for $40/week.
