Wellness Retreat
Description
Join us for a middle school wellness retreat under the direction of Stuart’s beloved counselor, Hayes Honer. During this time, we’ll explore the five “self” factors: essential self, social self, physical self, spiritual self, and coping self- all of which promote healthy self esteem, emotional health, and connectedness. Based on the Indivisible Self model (IS-Wel) created by Myers and Sweeney, the girls will build a foundation that is at the core of wellness through play, games, exercise and art. This session DOES NOT include lunch for your camper. Lunch can be added in the Options menu for $40/week.

Faculty Bio:
Hayes Honer joined the Stuart community in November, 2022 as the part-time Lower School counselor and has since evolved to include 5th and 6th grade. Hayes worked as a school-based therapist and a school counselor in the public school setting since 2015 and was thrilled to have the opportunity to work in private education. When she is not helping with social/emotional strategies, she can be found at a golf course or playing pickleball with her family and friends.
