Week 1- Millie's Crafters
Description
Calling all crafters! This week we will work with clay, paint with shaving cream, make friendship bracelets and more! We will use our creativity to craft and create and have fun!
This camp includes a morning snack and lunch for your camper. Please note that Stuart will be closed in observation of Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Faculty Bios:
Jill Hunt, Lower School Teacher: Jill Hunt joined the Stuart community in 2020. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University while participating as a student athlete and captain of the cross country and track and field teams. Ms. Hunt followed with a Master’s of Education in Reading Specialization, also from Kent State University. Prior to Stuart, she taught in North Carolina, Virginia and Ohio. In her spare time, Ms. Hunt can be found supporting her children at multiple sporting events.

Karen Poch, Lower School Teacher: Karen joined the Stuart Lower School Faculty as the junior kindergarten teacher in 2018. Prior to coming to Stuart, she taught pre-K, kindergarten, first, and second grade. She received her TESOL certification in 2012 and was a virtual ESL teacher for six years. She has contributed to several committees at Stuart, has taught the Summer Academic Academy, and facilitated the Stuart ToTS program. She is passionate about bringing creative and innovative ideas to each of her lessons while implementing Best Practices in early childhood education. In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her two dogs.
