Fairy Tale Baking
Description
From Aesop’s Fables of Ancient Greece to traditional fairy tales read around the world, food and storytelling are a pairing meant to be. Snow White bites a poisoned apple, Cinderella’s carriage is transformed from a pumpkin, and Little Red Riding Hood brings food to her grandmother—before becoming a meal herself! Hansel and Gretel find a cottage built of gingerbread, chocolate, candies, and other sweets. Each day campers will read new tales, make delicious treats and create a recipe book that they can take home with them. What’s your favorite fairy tale about food? Come share it with us!
