Teacher Candidate Application
Description
Baldwin Wallace University's Camp-Learn-A-Lot Summer Program will run Monday - Thursday, 9:30 am - 11:30 am. As a Teacher Candidate, you are required to be there from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. The 3-week camp dates are as followed: Monday, June 10th - Thursday, June 28th. This camp is open to students in grades K-5 and will provide the reinforcement of literacy, language, mathematics, and social skills. This in-person camp is 3 weeks of instruction with you as the pre-service educator overseen by BW faculty. In this program you will have small group instruction for a custom experience to meet the needs of the campers. This program is for typically developing children and for those with special needs. Creative learning experiences will be an integral part of the camp. Teacher Candidates will be given a $135/day stipend rate. Please complete the application to give us the reason you would be a good fit for this program. Once the application is submitted, the camp directors will get back to you within two weeks with next steps. There is limited participant capacity so we will not be able to take every teacher candidate that applies.
